About

Rise Wild Yoga has been created by Louisa.

In January 2020 I completed my 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India.

I began practicing yoga when I moved to London in 2008. Yoga has become a vital component of city life, helping me to stay present, find balance and re-connect with myself.

It's a wonderful gift to be able to offer a variety of nurturing, energising and dynamic classes which make space for people to move together, to explore their personal practice and meet themselves exactly where they are.

In my free time you can usually find me practicing Ashtanga Yoga, at the seaside or dancing in my living room!

“In practicing yoga we can become more aware, patient and humble. We can find the courage to open our hearts to ourselves, others and the world around us”

— Louisa, Founder of Rise Wild Yoga

Beyond Yoga

My yoga classes are informed by my own embodied arts practice and background in theatre and contemporary dance. Aside from yoga, I work as a Producer in the Arts and Cultural sector. I have a particular specialism in producing dance projects for health and wellbeing. I am a trustee for Entelechy Arts (a charity supporting marginalised people in South East London) and an active volunteer/producer/yoga teacher for Micro Rainbow (a charity supporting LGBTI asylum seekers and refugees).
